More “Backpacks for Kids” From EDCAR’s Charity Golf Tournament

Below are photos of approximately 75 backpacks made for kids in El Dorado County in July 2010. These backpacks include toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb/brush, shampoo, washcloths, etc), blankets, toys, school supplies, coloring books, and other items, based on age and gender. Packs were prepared for newborns (with bottles and diapers) all the way up to 18 years old. Read more

EDCAR’s Honor Our Troops “Yellow Ribbon Kick-Off” – Post Event Photos

EDCAR’s “Honor Our Troops” committee held their “Yellow Ribbon Rib Eye” Kick Off event at the Sequoia Restaurant on Bee Street in Placerville on June 16th, the net proceeds of which will be used to put together care packages for members of the armed forces from El Dorado County serving overseas.  The Sequoia Restaurant is generously giving all the soldiers on our list a free special meal when the come home, so remember the Sequoia when you are looking for a place for a really special evening out in Placerville! And be sure to tell them how much you appreciate their contribution to our soldiers when you go! Read more

Our second charity bowling tournament with net proceeds benefiting Catastrophic Aid for Real Estate (C.A.R.E.) was held on March 16th, 2010 and was a huge success. Participants had a great time and we raised over $1,000 to the benefit of our non-profit organization. Read more

“12th Annual Chili Feed” Benefitting C.A.R.E. – Post Event Photos

ERA Annual Open House Benefiting “Toys for Tots”

ERA Realty Center & Stanford Mortgage will be holding their Annual Open House Benefiting  Toys for Tots.  This will be held at ERA Realty Center in El Dorado Hills at Town Center on Thursday, December 10th from 5:00 to 7:30.  Included is food and festivities, free photos with Santa, and a coloring contest.  We are also accepting unwrapped new toys at all ERA offices which will be donated to the Toys for Tots program.   Attached below is a flyer with all of the details.
