About Kathie DeBord

Kathie is a native of Sacramento, and purchased her first home at the age of 19. Several houses later, she moved with her family to the foothills in 1978. As her children grew up, she began fulfilling her dream of helping others to buy and sell houses.

She took the real estate exam, left her job at Ponderosa High School, and dedicated herself to the profession.

Repeat business and referrals from past clients reflects the trust and respect Kathie has built over the years, and has been the key to her success.

Kathie represented HCV Partners with Southpointe and Vista del Lago at Southpointe, a premier custom lot subdivision on Folsom Lake and the Southfork of the American River in El Dorado Hills. Kathie worked this custom lot subdivision for 7 years through various phases of lot releases through its completion.

Kathie has also represented many custom home builders, including one in the original Street of Dreams when Serrano first appeared in El Dorado Hills in 1996.

Kathie’s core business is the representation of individual clients looking to buy or sell their home. She has had the good fortune of making life-long friends in her business, and treats her clients like family.

Kathie is a life member of the El Dorado County Top Achievers Club, where she held office as President in 1997.

Kathie is very involved in various charities, including “Backpacks for Kids”, which she helped to launch for EDCAR. Kathie also served on the Board of Directors for Catastrophic Aid for Real Estate – see www.CareGives.org.

Kathie served in various capacities, including President, of the Board of Directors for the El Dorado County Association of REALTORS® in 2010.
